<description>"Irish Prime Minister Bertie Ahern said in December 2003 that his country's EU Presidency (which began in January) will make CSR a priority policy across Europe."

Maybe the Irish Prime Minister hasn't noticed that many of his own countrymen and women happen to be involved in offshore outsourcing themselves!

Not a new phenomenon at all. Two of the Canadian companies I worked for used Irish offshoring to cut their costs. One of my jobs was to develop training videos to migrate manufacturing processes from Canada to Ireland.

While Ireland is nowhere near a leader in the offshore outsourcing industry, I'm sure that the many people involved would be quite interested in hearing how this is supposed to work.
