Offshore outsourcing for start-ups
A lot of ink, some of it quite emotive, has been spilt on the subject of offshore outsourcing. We will leave the political discussions to others and big companies can take care of themselves. Our focus is what software start-ups can do in this environment.
Work will shift offshore unless the work either requires a physical presence in the US or the US based workers can show a productivity improvement that matches the labor cost arbitrage. If you don?t plan your business around this reality, you will be blind-sided by competitors that do.

They might have a point. When others outsource, you have to join in, in order to stay competitive.
